  • Our Opening Gala on May 25th will give you a fancy night out with a treat at the end! Hear some big-hearted classics by Ravel, Strauss and Grieg, and then join us after the concert for a reception featuring complimentary Lindt chocolates and prosecco.

  • Then Ligeti’s Tightrope, Wagner’s Gift on May 31st might be the ticket! Ligeti’s violin concerto is endlessly fascinating, playful, and features one of the most fiendishly difficult soloist parts ever written. We’re in good hands with virtuoso Mark Fewer! And then Wagner’s Siegfried-Idyll is a gorgeous, timeless work, played by our wonderful 30-piece chamber orchestra.

  • Tchaikovsky in Italy on June 1st has something for everyone! Hear Mahler’s deeply emotional Ruckert-Lieder, Ian Cusson’s multimedia take on the works of eccentric painter Hieronymus Bosch, and Tchaikovsky’s passionate and iconic sextet Souvenir de Florence.

  • Then consider Scotia Festival Comes to Wolfville on June 2nd! For the first time ever, we take the festival on the road to the scenic environs of Devour! Studios in Wolfville, right next to the tidal basins of the Bay of Fundy. Enjoy music by Tchaikovsky, Poulenc and Michael Haydn.

  • Might we suggest Intoxication and Resistance on June 4th? Ravel’s dangerously beautiful Mallarme Songs are expertly performed by Emma Pennell, and Architek Percussion takes us on a wild ride with Julius Eastman’s seminal minimalist masterpiece, Gay Guerrilla.

  • Then our Closing Gala on June 7th would be perfect! A 70-piece orchestra plays works by Canadian composers Ana Sokolovic and Ian Cusson, and concludes with Mussorgsky’s epic Pictures at an Exhibition, in Ravel’s famous orchestration!
