What does it take for music to be classified as “song”? You can hear some answers to this question in this expertly programmed recital by the acclaimed American-British pianist Lana Bode, veteran of Wigmore Hall, the Aldeburgh Festival, and more. We will hear recent music from Azerbaijan, China, Jamaica and Morocco, alongside classics from the Western canon.
