This vibrant program connects composers across continents and centuries through the shared language of folk spirit and expressive storytelling. A Mozart violin/viola duo opens with elegance and wit, and Kodály’s Intermezzo for string trio adds Hungarian rustic flair. The evening closes with Dohnányi’s lush and dramatic Piano Quartet - a youthful masterpiece blending Romantic sweep with Hungarian soul. A program of bold voices, cultural threads, and music in conversation.
