Something for everyone tonight: a dynamic percussion quartet from the young John Cage; a richly expressive work from Johannes Brahms's later years; Beethoven's sunny horn sonata; and a complex, many-faceted string quartet by Béla Bartók - the halfway point in our resident quartet's planned cycle of the composer's six monumental works in this form.
